Anakin bit his lip just the slightest moment before he responded to Obi-Wan's touch and leaned in to kiss him soft at first, but then letting passion sweep him into deepening the kiss.

When he finally broke the kiss, he said, "I've been wanting to do that all morning."

He rested one hand on Anakin's shoulder, the other on Anakin's hip and returned the kiss, matched it for softness and ultimately passion until his breath caught and his fingers flexed just a little into Anakin.

"Mm. Why didn't you?"

"I wasn't sure if you wanted me to," he said. "You were at work, and then we were eating, and now... we are here... to watch a movie... But we could make out instead."

"It's more than fine for me. I've been trying to be careful because I... don't know how it would fit with your military background, but there's no issue on my end - and why can't we have the movie and make out?"

There's a flicker of a smile but there is something legitimately uncertain there. Vulnerable on his end, finally.

Anakin looked confused. "...Don't ask don't tell was repealed before I even joined." He shook his head and then caught Obi-Wan by the hand and pulled him to the couch.

He started the movie. And then settled in close to Obi-Wan. "Are there any scenes I should know you need to watch?"

"Mm. Legality rarely manages to legislate morality."

He took his shoes off and got them out of the way, then settled on the sofa beside Anakin. "Just the last one. The last world championship I went to, that was the song we used. I'm particularly fond of it."

Anakin watched Obi-Wan curiously when he took off his shoes but didn't object. The man might get cold, the place was drafty.

"I... can picture that now that I've seen you skate." But he didn't let Obi-Wan have a chance to answer, he just grabbed his shirt and pulled him in to restart the kiss.

He very quickly folded his legs under himself, which was going to keep his feet plenty warm, and his shoes off Anakin's sofa.

He started to laugh at the bit about being able to picture it, but he quickly stopped caring and went from laughter to a soft groan, and curled a hand around Anakin's jaw and leaned into the kiss. Just a little, but definitely deepening it and even chasing it a little.

Anakin saw an opening and pulled Obi-Wan all the way back with him on the couch. Once laying down he smiled like he'd won something.

"This too far?"

He sprawled out over Anakin, but kept most of his weight off Anakin as best as he could. "No, but if we go any further we might fall off." Total tease, but also he might have a point.

"We fit just fine on your couch last night," Anakin pointed out, still smiling, not at all understanding why Obi-Wan would hold back for that reason. "But we can take this up to my bed if you're afraid of rolling off."

It would defeat the purpose of coming to his apartment - to watch the movie - but a movie could be paused.

He laughs, softly. "I will not object if we ultimately end up in your bed, but I am completely happy where we are and with what we're doing." He ducked his head and slowly kissed Anakin, though pulled back. "And I am committed to the movie."

"I'm fine with the movie."

"Anakin was just fine with kissing.

Kissing and letting his hand explore the skin of Obi-Wan's back just under his shirt hem.

Just that.

Maybe.

Or maybe he wanted to move that hand up higher. It'd just been the night before when he'd been pressing Obi-Wan against the wall of his apartment. He hadn't had a chance to find the line of his spine and drag his hand softly over each bump.

Yes, he was just fine with this.

He ultimately broke the kiss and pushed himself down a bit lower on Anakin's body - not a lot, just enough so that he could slide his arms around Anakin and rest his head under Anakin's chin.

That meant he could watch the movie, though with Anakin exploring his back his gaze went just a little glassy. There was definitely arousal there, but a slow, languid, utterly relaxed sort of thing.

He pressed a kiss over Anakin's pulse point and truthfully could not have been more relaxed, in spite of being hard.

It was thrilling to know - feel - what his touch was doing to Obi-Wan. It made Anakin's lazy smile more than a bit smug.

"Is that for me," he angled his fingers so his nails dragged against Obi-Wan's skin. "Or the movie?"

He laughed, a little breathlessly, and arched his spine upward to follow the light drag of nails, but still without any real urgency.

"I do like the movie, but Patrick Swayze just isn't my type."

"Oh, it's Jennifer Grey?" Anakin teased.

He pushed himself up enough to look deeply into Anakin's eyes.

"...sure. It's Jennifer Grey."

It was not Jennifer Grey.

Anakin shifted his leg so that it brushed against the hard press of Obi-Wan erection.

"She's hot- was- she's an actress, probably still hot," Anakin said. Still teasing.

But he lifted himself to try to kiss Obi-Wan.

He made a soft noise in his throat, like a moan that wanted to be a laugh. "Still not my type and probably can't dance." He leaned down to meet the kiss, thumb smoothing over Anakin's cheekbone.

He was still aware of the movie, but it was currently very much not important.

...That would change when they got to the end, though.

"She won Dancing with the Stars," Anakin pointed out. "At fifty." He remembered because his mother had made him watch that season with her. Because of Jennifer Grey.

"Is that a requirement? Your partner needs to be able to dance?" He dragged his nails lightly down Obi-Wan's spine.

He slid himself very slightly to the side, but mostly it was just a shift in his weight so he wasn't quite so firmly on top of Anakin. It in no way kept Anakin from scratching his back which had his eyes going heavy lidded and him pressing a little more solidly against Anakin.

"No, just my celebrity crushes."

Oh, this was a fun topic. This had Anakin biting his lower lip and raising his eyebrows in anticipation.

"Who are your celebrity crushes?"

[neverjedi]

That look - that exact one - got every bit of his attention on Anakin and had him leaning in for a slow, deep kiss.

"Hugh Jackman. Your turn."

[darkforcerising]

"X-man fan?"

Anakin thought about that. And thought some more.

"John Mulaney... Jameela Jamil... Nala from Lion King, I think."
