He gave Anakin room to turn, and actually took time to straighten up and fasten Anakin's clothes - for the time being, anyway, and wrapped his arms back around Anakin more loosely once he turned. Rubbed his knuckles slowly up and down the line of Anakin's spine.

"What can I say? You're hot."

He leaned his forehead down to rest against Obi-Wan's, enjoying the feeling of Obi-Wan's knuckle on his back. His own hand found a place on Obi-Wan's hip, thumb tracing that line between muscles, that line that slipped under the waistband of Obi-Wan's underwear and if they were further apart would point straight at his groin.

"I thought it was my grown up taste in drinks that attracted you to me."

He stared up and directly into Anakin's eyes though he actually moaned again at the stroke of Anakin's thumb - not arousal, just a great deal of enjoyment in simply being touched.

"It was your ceaseless smart-assery and knowing the bar tenders name, actually." Also that Anakin was attractive, but that was pretty secondary. There were pretty people everywhere. "You okay?"

That amused Anakin a great deal. "My name dropping did it?" he asked. "Well, it just so happens I also know the name of the night clerk at the corner shop just up the block from that park." He wiggled his eyebrows at that little piece of information.

"I am fantastic," he said, and then returned the favor. "You okay?"

He laughs, softly. "I'm good." He is. He's warm and relaxed and deeply content. At ease. "Are you content enough to get cleaned up, or do you need a few more minutes?" Either's fine.

"Is this a subtle hint that you want me to start get ready to leave?" he asked, not exactly upset, just wishing this moment could last longer. "I sometimes miss subtle hints, some I'm just checking."

"No, it's a subtle hint that my hand and underwear are covered in come, and so is your shirt and it's all pretty uncomfortable. I was thinking more washing up, changing into clean clothes and curling up on the couch for a while."

He's still being so, so gentle.

...He might have some aftercare experience happening.

"Oh! Right, ya. That sounds good. Ya." He tries to make that sound like he absolutely noticed all those things because in truth he hadn't even cared. He would have cared eventually, it just would have taken him longer to be uncomfortable. But if Obi-Wan cared, then he would.

But...

"... I don't have another shirt."

"I've got you." he kisses Anakin gently and eases him back and away, but holds onto Anakin's hand in a light, easily broken grip as he heads the short distance to the bedroom where he releases Anakin slowly. "Top dresser drawer. Grab a pair of shorts from there, too." Elastic waists, easy on and off as well as some older, solid colored, t-shirts. "I'll be back as soon as I've washed my hands."

Anakin watched Obi-Wan leave because that was a side of him yet to be seen, and he wasn't shy about what he was doing. But when he let the minute drag long enough, he turned to the dresser to pull out a shirt.

"Why do you want me in shorts?" he called after Obi-Wan.

"I'm offering options. If you're comfortable in jeans, it's fine." You weirdo.



He stripped his underwear off, tossed them in his hamper, washed up and then came back naked and went to the dresser to grab a pair of shorts, t-shirt, and yeah, clean boxer briefs (red ones this time) for himself.

He was still by the dresser when Obi-Wan came back, in the (slow) process of changing his shirt. Anakin could stare, right? He was pretty sure he could stare. Obi-Wan was just boldly walking around like that, how could he not watch and show that he was enjoying the view. He was even distracted enough to not be - or show embarrassment for his scars revealed now that he was shirtless.

Anakin was absolutely welcome to watch all he wanted. In fact, Obi-Wan didn't seem to even notice the attention.

The scars he noticed and left unremarked upon, though he did drag his fingers up Anakin's arm, from elbow to shoulder, and then up the side of his neck. Just a casual, passing, touch before he moved away far enough to start pulling clothes on.

The touch sent shivers up Anakin's spine and also broke the spell he was under. Just enough that he could pull the shirt on over his head and tug it down while watching Obi-Wan.

The man had a beautiful body!

And it wasn't as if he expected this to happen again. Hoped, but if it didn't, the memories would be worth it.

"I'm gonna wash my hand and then I'll join you on the couch."

He nodded slightly - not unhappy just quiet, and retreated to the living room - which was still visible from the bedroom because New York - got the rest of his clothes picked up and into the hamper, put the game away and by the time Anakin had finished washing up was curled comfortably up in a corner of the sofa.

When Anakin came back he held one out to him in invitation.

Would it happen again? No idea. He would be more sorry if it didn't than if it did, though.

Anakin came back into the room and took Obi-Wan's hand and sat next to him.

"Did you hid the shirt I won?" He kept his face as even as possible for as long as possible.

"It's in the hamper in the bedroom. You're welcome to retrieve it if you want." He wrapped one arm around Anakin, slid down lower in the seat and outright turned Anakin into a blanket over him.

"You say one thing," Anakin hmmed, but didn't protest as Obi-Wan pulled him in. In fact, Anakin much preferred touching and being touched - it had been a rough year and a half.

"But you're doing things that make it impossible."

"I'm not doing anything," he said, leaning his head back, closing his eyes and trailing his fingers up and down Anakin's back.

He had no idea what time it was. Late enough that morning was going to hurt.

Worth it.

This wasn't bad at all. Maybe he would grab the shirt later.

"What time do we need to be up?"

That got a smile out of him - nearly a grin. "I have to be at the rink at 9. You can sleep for probably another hour, if you want or need it."

"I guarantee that I will fall asleep after you and wake up before you. But I'll take that time to run back to my apartment and grab my meds."

But, to make sure that worked...

He let go of Obi-Wan's hand and pulled out his phone and set about six alarms to make sure he made it back to his apartment and then to the rink.

"I usually keep them on me, but they check you for Adderall at EDM concerts."

"Okay." He nuzzled lightly at Anakin's hair and hooked one of his legs around Anakin's. He was sleepy. Couldn't help it. "Class is from 9:30 to 10:30, Assume another half-hour for me to get everyone out." He didn't know what he was talking about at that point - or rather he did, but not why. He was just... content, sated, and sleepy.

Anakin didn't really sleep. It wasn't because he was uncomfortable - he very much was. But it was difficult for him without his meds for various reasons, and he didn't want to wake up from a deep sleep in a strange place, and his mind freak out because he didn't initially recognize where he was. Instead, he'd put air pods in and played games on his phone, enjoying the soft rise and fall of Obi-Wan's chest, until his first alarm went off: GET YOUR MEDS!

He stole a kiss from Obi-Wan as the other man woke up and then rushed out the door so he could grab an Uber to his apartment. His next alarm (another reminder about meds) was going off when he was opening his front door. Meds first. And then he rushed up to his sleeping area to grab new clothes when the next alarm sounded: BRUSH YOUR TEETH. Oh right, he shouldn't forget that. And then: SHOWER. Shouldn't forget that either.

Ten minutes later he was washed, dressed in clean clothes and he was reaching for the front door handle when his fifth alarm went off: GRAB YOUR BAG. And he realized he'd forgotten to pick up his backpack before leaving. And he double backed for that.

Then- Then he was ready to go down and order and Uber to the rink.

He was walking through the rink doors when the last alarm went off: YOU BETTER FUCKING BE ON YOUR WAY, 15 MINS.

He smiled at his past self and loped up the stands to sit and wait for the class to start.

Three songs in his air pods later, a pack of small - small - children spilled out onto the ice along with their instructor.

His morning was pretty leisurely, by comparison. He woke up, reheated some of yesterday's leftovers for breakfast, took a shower and brushed his teeth and otherwise groomed, started a load of laundry and then got dressed.

Yes. In that order.

Dressed was a fresh pair of older jeans, a sweater and sneakers for the trip to the rink and white skates out onto it.

He was surprised to see Anakin already there when he went out onto the ice with his kid, but if the grin was anything to go by it was a really pleasant surprise. Then he refocused on his kids and teaching them.

Today's lessons meaning, mostly, how to use hour glass shape figures to move forward and backward, though interspersed by a lot of redirecting them onto task, preventing squabbles, picking kids who fell down up and comforting them and -

For the last twenty minutes doing it with the youngest (barely 3) year old planted solidly on his hip with her thumb in her mouth because she was having a shy day.

They all learned something though and at the end, when it was down to him and one little boy with ratty jeans and hand-me-down shakes left, he glanced up into the bleachers, didn't see either of his parents yet.

So he took him out on the ice and gave him a little more instruction and attention, mostly just talking and encouraging and ended by picking up the kid and doing a rapid, tight, spin that got his mind off wondering about his ride and made him laugh.

At that point mom was there, harried and sorry and apologetic and talking about getting out of work late and dad dropping off. Obi-Wan reassured her, ruffled the kids hair and finally skated over to the wall and Anakin.

"Sorry about the delay. It won't take me long to get out of skates."
